EU CITIZEN
The aim of the EU Citizen project is to encourage young people aged 15-24 who are not working or studying or at risk of dropping out of school to resume their educational, educational and/or professional pathways using a non-formal education approach and methodology of social innovation.
TARGET-GROUP
Target-Group: 15 jovens NEET from each country partner Young people at risk of dropping out of school, absenteeism, demotivation in relation to the educational and social component, young people in economic exclusion and low-income households with low self-esteem from dysfunctional families. The process in this project involves working these young people in their own groups and motivating them to gain social skills of insertion and active citizenship. The creative process passes entirely through the young people who, articulated and with the support of the artists, will develop skills to build, in the field of animation cinema, his own project. Cross-cutting skills will be developed artistic and active citizenship. The choice of the citizenship theme to be developed, plot creation, storyboard, instruments and methods will be the responsibility of young people.
Involvement: 200 persons
The facilitators will be four (one for each thematic area) and one tutor (responsible for accompanying participants throughout the workshops and also in the final presentation), who will attend the short-term event of joint training of staff, an action of non-formal training that will last 3 days in person and another 2 online, totaling 30 hours, will take place in Greece, and will be given in the form of a workshop. Twelve facilitators and three tutors will be included in the partnership. This training is focused on the specificity and characteristics of the target audience of the thematic workshops, ie this training will focus on methodologies, strategies and methods of non-formal education to deal with this type of target audience, young people at risk of social exclusion. Facilitators and tutors will facilitate learning and non-formal skills acquisition. Thematic workshops for young people will cover 15 young people in each partner country, ie a total of 45 young people. It should be noted that these workshops take into account the development of the language skills and digital skills of the young participants. Subsequently, at the conclusion of the workshops / themes by the youth, there will be a final presentation where young people will present their projects, ideas developed during or on the basis of these workshops.

Partner 3: Horama Thesprotias – responsible for:
– the short-term joint training event for staff in Greece, lasting 3 days and participation of 2 members per entity. This event allows the consolidation and preparation of the facilitators, mentors and tutors of young people for the intervention action.

In the partnership there is a shared responsibility between all the entities, for an effective collaboration and articulation of work, that is, all the entities will be involved in the development of all the planned activities. All entities will have responsibilities at the level of dissemination, through regional press news, facebook posts, dissemination of activities, contributions to the newsletter; all entities will have responsibilities at the level of monitoring, as well as in the evaluation of the project and the activities carried out.

1st transnational meeting, aims to analyze and validate the communication, monitoring and evaluation plan of the project, as well as all the planning inherent in carrying out the proposed activities, in time, budget, tasks and responsibilities. The meeting will be held in Portugal and has the participation of 2 elements per each entity.

1st transnational meeting in Evora, Portugal
2nd transnational meeting, aim to verify the activities carried out so far: the preparation of the Handbook of “Methodologies and Work Tools – Peer Education with Young People” and in the preparation of the training event for facilitators. The meeting will take place in Spain and will have the participation of 2 elements by each entity.

2nd transnational meeting in Alcadara, Spain
3rd transnational meeting, will take place in Greece with the participation of 2 elements per entity, aims to take stock and evaluate the activities carried out so far, check if there is a need for adjustments; evaluate the progress of workshops with young people, review the evaluation of activities; and prepare the following activities, prepare the event of mixed mobility of the learners, as well as check the conditions for the production of the animation videos and prepare the short animation show. Prepare evaluation elements and procedures related to the Program.
4th transnational meeting, will be held in Portugal, with the participation of 2 members from each entity and aims to verify the evaluation process inherent to the project, activities and learning activities; and the preparation of the dissemination workshops to be held in each country, at the same time, if possible, so that the Animated Short Film Show is presented in the three countries with interactivity between the youth and the participants.
